Position Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger reconciliations, revenue-related accounting, and month-end close activities. This position is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, experience in a SaaS, technology, or subscription-based business, and hands-on experience with NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Process and code vendor invoices accurately and ensure timely payment.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and coding issues.
• Post customer payments and reconcile customer receipts.
• Perform account reconciliations, including General Ledger, bank, and balance sheet accounts.
• Code, post, and reconcile purchasing card (P-Card) transactions and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile sales commissions and related accounting records.
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy of financial data and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and account reconciliations.
• Experience supporting month-end close processes.
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
