Job Description
Highly experienced Automation Technician needed to fill an immediate opening with Lightheaded Helmets, an outstanding new start-up in the Lubbock area.
Requirements for the position include the ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, software and instrumental defaults in robotic equipment, specifically in an automated paint line. Candidates must also be adept in HMI, set up, calibration and start up in automation equipment.
Exemplary candidates will have the natural ability to think outside of the box, problem solve where robotics are concerned and have extreme mechanical aptitude.
This position will supervise the automated paint line from start to finish and all related assembly personnel, so prior experience managing and developing a team is necessary. Awareness of and experience with a safety-first environment is required, along with the skill to impart safety protocols to team members.
Working hours for this role may change from week to week between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and/or from 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. Compensation is based upon knowledge, skill level, and a combination of education, hands-on experience, and certifications. Familiarity with the IQMS ERP system is a plus.
