Tender Years Childcare Inc. is seeking a caring, creative Toddler and Preschool Teacher to help children build confidence, curiosity, communication skills, and a lifelong love of learning. Qualifications: BA or BS in Early Childhood Education or related field AND State Department of Education Certification in Birth- Grade 2

What You Will Do:

• Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that combine early literacy, math readiness, social studies, arts and crafts, movement, play, and hands-on exploration.
• Lead small-group instruction and individualized activities that meet children where they are and encourage independence, communication, and positive decision-making.
• Maintain a nurturing, safe, clean, and well-managed classroom where toddlers and preschoolers feel secure, included, and excited to learn.
• Use effective classroom management and differentiated instruction strategies to support a range of learning styles, developmental needs, and social-emotional skills.
• Build trusted partnerships with families through thoughtful parent communication, parent conferences, and meaningful updates on each childs growth.

What You Will Bring:

• You bring experience in early childhood education, elementary education, preschool teaching, childcare, or a closely related learning environment.
• You can develop purposeful curriculum plans and lesson plans that support foundational academic and developmental skills.
• You use strong classroom management and responsive teaching practices to create positive routines and productive learning spaces.
• You communicate warmly and professionally with children, families, and fellow educators.
• You are committed to providing patient, dependable, child-centered care while maintaining high educational standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NAEYC-informed practices, Montessori methods, Responsive Classroom approaches, or individualized education plans is valued.
• Knowledge of Common Core-aligned foundational skills, reading intervention, special education support, or curriculum planning is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or a willingness to maintain required certifications, is welcomed.

Pay and Benefits:

• Earn a competitive hourly rate of $22 to $28 per hour , based on qualifications and experience.
